Touchstone Home Electronics Co. Ltd (THECL) has been incorporated as a Private Limited Company dated 7 May, 2018 bearing Incorporation No.: C-144715/2018. It is a joint venture collaboration between Touchstone Industrial (BD) Limited (Shanghai, China) & Hefei Chunhe Electrical Co. Ltd. The company has been incorporated with the vision of manufacturing, assembling, marketing, distributing & selling electronic items such as Refrigerators, Air Conditioners, Pressure Cooker, Gas Burner, Heater and others Electronics and Household products.
The Authorized Share Capital of the Company is BDT 100,000,000 (Ten Crores) divided into 1,000,000 (Ten Lac) Ordinary Shares of TK 100 (One Hundred) each with the rights and privileges and conditions attached thereto as are provided by the Articles of Association of the Company for the time being with powers to increase and reduce the share capital of the Company in accordance with Articles of Association of the Company and law for the time being in force.

Under joint venture collaboration, Touchstone Home Electronics Co. Ltd (THECL) has taken the opportunity of Chinese Government New Venture “ONE BELT AND ONE ROAD”.
After deliberation with repeated research, full of confidence in Bangladesh investment environment, as well as supported by two governments, a professional standardized refrigerator & AC manufactory was established in 2018, which is located at Bogura, Bangladesh. The estimated first phase investment is over USD 10.00 million which includes 12,000 square metres civil construction, latest imported machinery which is included in full set of automatic assembly line, side plate line, vacuum-thermo form line, plastic injection line, door plate assembly line, cabinet assembly line, foaming machine, track line, automatic vacuum line, liquid charging machine, gas welding machine, detector, leak detector, automatic test room, automatic packaging machine and different types of molds.

The technical team is from China who has over 20 years of experience in the refrigerator industry. THECL will gradually develop local employees, train first-class technicians and improve labour skills. The factory is designed for over 200,000 refrigerator sets per annum. The product positioning is middle and high-end market thorough the country as well as export to south-east Asia, Middle East, Europe, USA etc.
